By day 4 I think we were well on our way to setting a record for the number of people you can visit with in one trip. My parents were kind enough to host a brunch so we could see my dad's side of the family. This included Aunt Lily and Uncle Guih, Cousin Brian and his son Tylor, Cousin Liza, Aunt Mona and Uncle Jacob, Cousin Gary, Cousin Audrey, my grandmother - Grandma Rachel, and my dad's cousin Abe and his wife Lillian. Here's a couple pictures we took before the guests arrived:
Then the kids waited patiently for the guests to arrive:They finally arrived and of course Allison went straight for baby Tylor. She enjoyed hanging out with her second cousin.
It was great to see my grandmother, who manages to make it to Florida every winter to visit us, and my uncle who I hadn't seen since my cousin Brian's wedding (in the above picture) two years ago.
Allison had fun playing chess with my dad and my dad's cousin:
Me Brian, Daniel and Tylor:
More cousins...Gary, Audrey, and Liza:
After we recovered from the brunch, it was time to meet my friend Anita (who I met while working at Ceridian in 2000) and her daughter Tara for dinner at Red Robin followed by dessert at TCBY. These are two places we don't have near us in Florida so it we enjoyed eating at both. The last time we saw Anita was when she came to visit us in Florida right after Daniel was born which was a little over 2 years ago. Here's a picture we took during that trip:
And here they are after eating frozen yogurt at TCBY:
At least this time I remembered to take an adult picture (no, not that kind of adult picture, just a picture of the adults). Here is Anita and I:
Up next...day 5...a day in Washington DC!
