Our Summer Travels to Maryland - Day 3

Next up on our trip, we traveled down to Northern Virginia to visit my college roommate Gretchen and her family in the morning and then visited with Jeff's Uncle Al and Aunt Birgit and his cousin Drew, his wife Kim and their two adorable kids Jessica and Megan.

I hadn't seen Gretchen in almost two years. Last time I saw her, she had just had her first baby, Ryan. He was about 5 weeks old. Here's a picture of Allison and Ryan:

Fast forward a few years and we have Allison, Daniel and Ryan playing with Thomas the Train!
Not only has Ryan grown up, there is another new addition to the family - baby Ben! Allison is completely obsessed with babies and thoroughly enjoyed holding and helping feed Ben.

I wish I had remembered to take a picture of me and Gretchen, but of course I did not. (One of these days I'll be able to focus on something OTHER than the kids!). After visiting Jeff and Gretch, we made our way over to Jeff's Aunt and Uncle's house. His aunt and Uncle had visited us in Florida about a year ago but we hadn't seen his cousin and his cousin's kids since Allison was nine months old.
