Counting Down the Days

On Monday I was finally able to register Allison for Kindergarten. Due to her having a late birthday and hence a July doctor appointment, registration being closed in the middle of the summer and us being away last week, Monday was the first day I could actually register her. She was excited to go and see her school again, even though she knew we'd only be in the front room and only for a few minutes. Nonetheless, she insisted on making a picture for whomever she met there. She ended up giving the picture to the lady at the front desk who took all the registration paperwork. She was happy to have received her picture, as it was the first one she had received this school year. I had to crack a smile when Allison showed it to me because her spelling still cracks me up. Here is the picture:

The bottom reads "To Elementary School" and of course you can clearly see the top reads "From Allison." I just loved the spelling of elementary. Guess it's a good thing she is going to school - her spelling skills could use a bit of improvement. About two weeks to go until the first day of school!
