Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Allison (age 3 3/4 as she will tell you) loves to talk to her friend Alexis (age 4) on the phone. Listening to a 3 and 4 year old try and have a conversation on the phone is one of the funniest things I've ever listened to. I wish I had a recording of the conversation because I would have posted it on Tiny Talk, but of course I do not have such a recording. I was, however, able to write down one part of the conversation that cracked me up. It went as follows:

Alexis: My dad is out of town
Allison: Where is he?
Alexis: He is in New York
Allison: That's far.
Alexis: Yeah, it's up in the sky
Allison: Like the cloud castle. That's in the sky too.

And, unfortunately, that's all I was able to write down. Although it I do remember that Allison was trying to get off the phone so she said good-bye and Alexis said "No! It's not time to get off the phone yet!"

Allison has been into trying to tell jokes lately, although she doesn't seem to understand that a joke needs a punchline. She just says things that she thinks are funny. This past week she came out with:
"How does a cup get on the roof? It flies on an airplane (giggle giggle). That was funny. That's Tiny Talk right?" (yes, she knows all about blogging and tiny talk!)
