Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk! Here's what Allison, age 3 3/4 had to say this past week:

Allison (to Jeff and I): What is 4 plus 4?
Jeff: Count it on your fingers.
Allison: (after counting her fingers) 8!
Jeff: Correct. That is called addition.
Allison: Like magic! Addition is like magic!

Allison: Daniel was born here.
Me: Yes, that right.
Allison: But I was born in Maryland and then when we moved here, I was born again. (gotta love the thought process)

Daniel loves to follow Allison everywhere she goes. We were playing in her bedroom and she went into the bathroom, so of course he followed. I said "Daniel, you don't need to follow her everywhere!" to which Allison responds "He follows me because he loves me so much."

Daniel, age 12 months, is starting to talk a bit. He's been saying "mama" for a couple months now (which is wonderful!) but he finally said "dada" this past week while we were all sitting at the dinner table. It made us all smile, especially Jeff.
