Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Lots of talking from my little one this week. Here's what Allison, age 3 3/4 had to say:
We were at the bookstore and Allison found a book she wanted me to buy her called "Make, Bake and Decorate."
Allison: Mommy, I want this.
Me: No, we're not going to buy that.
Allison: Maybe someone will buy it for me. They will look down at it and they will say "Hey, maybe Allison will like that" and then they will buy it for my birthday. (her thought process is just so hysterical sometimes).

This one is a little on the yucky side but I just couldn't believe this came from my 3 year old (it's one of those - should I really be having this conversation with my 3 year old?).
We were shopping at Bath and Body Works when Allison turns to me and the following conversation ensues:
Allison: Mom, what did the doctor's use to cut you open to get Daniel out? A knife or a scissors?
Me: (completely startled at the question) Um, a surgical knife.
Allison: Did it hurt?
Me: No, they gave me special medicine so I didn't feel it.
Allison: Because medicine makes it not hurt.
Me: Some medicines do, yes. (and that was the end of the conversation thank goodness!)
By the way, she's seen my scar and asked about it in the past so I've explained before that it's from when the doctors took Daniel out of my belly.

Me (to Jeff on Saturday): I need to mop the floor because I don't want to spend mother's day mopping the floor. So you're in charge of the kids.
Jeff: I need to clean the garage
Me: You always have an excuse don't you!
Allison: (out of nowhere we hear) Like I do! (yes, she is the queen of excuses!)

Allison: Mom, see the picture Daniel and I made on the doodlepro.
Me: It's great. What is it?
Allison: A community center (where in the world did she pick that up???)

Cute!
Funny how they always want things and hope someone buys it for them.
Too cute
Those public conversations always have to potential to be very embarassing, don't they?! Thank goodness it ended where it did. :)
Her thought on the gift was so cute. Love it!
Oh, the awkward baby talk...luckily for you the doctors took it out of your tummy...the other explanation gets a bit "interesting"...
Have a good day girl!
Happy TTT!
