Tiny Talk Tuesday

After two weeks off, I'm back for another fun week of Tiny Talk. Here's what Allison, almost age 4, had to say this past week:

Allison: When does school end?
Me: It already did.
Allison: No, all school?
Me: Not for a very very long time. Almost until your my age
Allison: And then I can do a blog right! (yes, she knows all about this blog!)

We like to play the cloud game when we are driving around town. The other day, Allison said "Mom, that cloud looks like a sad dragon flying to eat that flying boy." (at least it's quite descriptive)

Sometimes I can't help but laugh when Allison gets really angry because some of the things that come out of her mouth are priceless. I think she was mad because she had just eaten and some of the food fell on her chair so the dog was trying to lick it and licked her instead:
Allison: (with a very angry face) I don't want to touch anything in this town or in this world!
Me: Okay, I'm going to have some carrot cake but I guess you can't have any since you can't touch anything.
Allison: (still angry) I'm just going to touch the very soft stuff like sand, cupcakes and carrot cake.

We went to a BBQ at my sister's husband's brother Brett's house for the fourth of July. They had a toy that needed batteries and Brett was going to put them in. He got out the big electric screwdriver and seemed to be taking a little while so Allison says "My daddy does it better!"
Needless to say, we all cracked up at that (and daddy got a BIG smile on his face). She's all about daddy these days. She thinks engineers rule the world. Boy does she have a lot to learn!
