Happy Birthday to Allison!

It feels like just yesterday I was looking into an empty crib thinking the baby in my belly would soon be in there. I wondered what this new addition to our family would be like. What would she look like? What would her personality be? What kind of person would she grow to be? The only thing I knew was that it was a little girl and we were going to name her Allison. I was amazed by the fact the little baby that had grown in my belly was soon to be sleeping in that crib. Well, here we are four years later and I've gotten to know my precious little Allison. She is fun, silly, cute, loveable and even tenacious. Today is her fourth birthday, although I feel like she's been four for months (or fourteen for that matter). Every since January she's been asking me when she will turn four. She understood that her birthday was July 17th but she didn't realize how long she had to wait for that day to come. This is the first year I think she really understands what birthday's are all about. She'll be having a couple friends over on Saturday for a princess party. Happy 4th birthday to my four-year-old princess!
