Allison loves to play hide and seek. The problem is, she doesn't tell anyone she is playing. She'll just go and hide. Luckily, she only plays this game at home. So when we're home and I don't hear her making any noise I have to go searching. She's so little she makes for an excellent hider. Not so fun for mom, or dad, or Aunt Bonnie who couldn't find her in her own house (i had to hunt her down)! The past few nights, after I've put Allison to bed, she's decided to go and hide and then happens to fall asleep. Luckily, I've checked on her before I went to sleep. For two nights straight I found her asleep in her closet. Of course I had to take a picture:
Last night when I went to check on her, she wasn't in bed so of course I checked her closet...not in there. I knew she had to be somewhere upstairs because i was on the computer which is upstairs and I didn't see her walk by. So I checked the bathroom (which is connected to her room). And there she was, between the toilet and bathtub asleep on the hard tile floor. I didn't manage to get a picture of that one because I just wanted to get her out of there. That was a two person operation. Jeff lifted her up and I made sure her head didn't hit any of the porcelain that surrounded her. Ugh. We explained to her today that when we put her in bed, she needs to stay in bed. That doesn't mean go and hide in the closet, or the bathroom, or even in Daniel's room (luckily that hasn't happened yet). Jeff put her to bed tonight but she was already asleep when he left the room so she actually went to sleep in her own bed. Well, at least she's not scared of the boogeyman in the closet.

Audrey does the hide and seek too without telling anyone, but if we don't come looking for her, she'll yell, "I'm playing hide and seek, and you have to find me [insert place here]".
I can't believe she actually falls asleep in her hiding places. She is such a funny girl!
