We Have Ourselves A Climber

On Saturday, I was sitting on the couch in our living room, Jeff was in the kitchen, Allison was playing on the floor near me and Daniel was crawling around. Our stairs are located behind the couch and I noticed Daniel had crawled in that direction. The setup of our stairs is as follows, you go up two steps, then there in a platform and the stairs turn to the right and go up. I asked Allison if she could see Daniel and she shouts "He's on the stairs! He climbed the stairs!" Jeff and I immediately jumped up and started running toward the stairs. I managed to get there first since I was closer and I saw Daniel sitting on the platform part with a huge smile on his face. He started to come toward me and luckily I grabbed him before he decided to try and come back down the stairs, head first. We now have a gate at the bottom of the stairs.

Then on Sunday I was on the computer (which is upstairs near Allison and Daniel's room). They were playing in her room when Allison comes running out screaming "Daniel is sitting on the chair!" So once again I raced in to see he had climbed her pink chair and was then trying to climb the arm of the chair so he could play with her kitchen set. Once Jeff was there to spot him, I managed to get a video of it:

And here I thought things were starting to get easier...
