Tiny Talk Tuesday

Here's what Allison, age 3 3/4 had to say this past week:

Allison and I were playing doctor patient - she was the doctor and I was the patient:
Allison: Where is your heart?
Me: right here (pointing to the middle of my chest). Can you hear my heartbeat?
Allison: No, I cant' hear it.
Me: Well, that's not good, if you can't hear it then I'm not alive.
Allison: You're alive, I just can't hear it because this is a pretend doctors kit.
Me: Oh, okay good. (who thought a 3 year old could be so reasonable?)

After turning on the garbage disposal:
Allison: I don't like that noise mom.
Me: But I need to turn it on to get the sink cleared out
Allison: But it's annoying my feelings mom! (it's so cute when they try to use a big word but it doesn't make sense)

Allison: Sometimes...
Me: Sometimes what?
llison: Maybe I'm getting bigger because I forgot what I was going to say (ain't that the truth!)
