Here's what Allison, age 3 1/2, had to say this past week:
Daniel was being fussy because I tried to put him down so I could prepare dinner. So Allison says:
"We really need daddy right now. We need daddy to hold him so you can cook. This is a VERY big problem right?"

I have a plastic place mat for Allison at the kitchen table (since it's easy to clean) and one day she said:
"I don't want that placement anymore cause I'm getting big and I don't want it because I'm almost 4 and 4's don't use place mats."

Allison had a couple cute saying while she was sick:
Allison: Maybe I'll get better on a cold winter's day
Me: Well, that's not too likely since it doesn't get cold here.
Allison: Oh. Maybe we can make a rainman instead of a snowman and then we can go to the store and get some blocks and make a blockman.
While going potty for the umpteenth time, she says "Aw, this is just no fun!" (I just wanted to cry when she said that. Her tone of voice was just so pathetic).
I was going to take a shower so I asked Allison if she wanted to watch tv in my room or in the living room and she says "Your room so you can tend to me while you're getting dressed." (the use of the words "tend to" cracked me up!)

Oh, it would be nice to have a daddy around anytime baby was fussy, huh?
I wish she and T could play - they would have such fun :)
