We Must Be Crazy

Tomorrow we leave for New Orleans to visit Jeff's family. I'm looking forward to the trip since I haven't been there in 2 1/2 years and I look forward to seeing all of his family. On the other hand, we are going on a 13 hour car ride with a 6 month old who's not to fond of the car. We've decided to split the drive into two days so hopefully it won't be too bad. Daniel especially doesn't like being in the car when it's dark out so we have to be sure to get to the hotel by sundown. I feel like I've packed up my whole house for a nine day trip. I never would have thought we'd need so much stuff but when you have two little kids, you feel like you need to bring EVERYTHING with you. Hopefully it will all fit in the car. We'll find out tomorrow morning when we try to load it. Luckily we have a carrier to put on the roof but the double stroller alone will fill that up! So, needless to say, I will not be updating my blog for the next week but I'm sure I will have plenty to write about when I return, along with many pictures to share. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
