Beauty Right Outside Our Door

We moved into our house last February, which is 9 months ago. Yesterday, I played with Allison and Daniel in the backyard for the first time. Let me explain, we have a screened patio area that we spend a lot of our time in. It keeps the bugs out and I know the kids can't get out so it's a nice safe place to play. Well, the weather has finally cooled off here and it's been absolutely beautiful this week. So, we ventured into the backyard and what a beautiful place it is! I took a couple pictures to capture the moment. Here's Allison playing with the pretty purple flowers growing on a plant in our backyard ( I didn't even know they were there!):

The rebuilding of the golf course behind our house is finally complete and it is opening next weekend. I sneaked the kids on for a picture, but was sure to take it quickly for fear of the sprinklers coming on and soaking all of us!

This last picture is of Allison standing by a tree in our yard doing the "I have to go potty dance." Luckily we made it inside in time. Funny that I just happened to capture her at that moment.
