Daniel - 7 Months

My little Daniel turned seven months old yesterday and he is doing great! We've finally gotten to the point where he is sleeping 11-12 hours straight at night. He's such a wonderful sleeper now. He's sitting up very well on his own - no signs of crawling just yet which is fine with me. I could stand to wait a few more weeks or months for that because once it's starts I have to keep an extra good eye on him since Allison has so many little toys and Daniel loves to put everything in his mouth.

Daniel is also very vocal. He loves to hear his voice. As Uncle Brad describes it, he sounds like a terradactyl. We have to go to noisy restaurants so we don't stand out as the "loud" family.

Daniel also has three teeth now and he loves to eat! In addition to his formula, he's had mushed bananas, applesauce, peaches, peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes and oatmeal for breakfast every morning. Hopefully during the next month we will introduce him to some more interesting foods.

He's also doing better in the car these days. I think the long drive to New Orleans last week helped him get acclimated. He's no longer in the bucket seat, he has his fancy dancy new black car seat so i think that helps too.
