Here's what Allison, age 3, had to say this past week:
My friend Anita called me and I hadn't talked to her in awhile so I answered the phone with "Hey stranger!"and didn't think much of it. About two or three minutes into the conversation, Allison came up to me and said "Why are you talking to a stranger?"
_________________________________________________________
I was telling Allison what letters were vowels and she repeated them after me. This is how the conversation went:
Me: A
Allison: A
Me: E
Allison: E
Me: I
Allison: I
Me: O
Allison: O
Me: U
Allison: Me?
(who decided to make words that sound like letters anyway? It is very confusing, epsecially for a 3 year old)

Allison was trying to eat soup for dinner but was making a mess so I said, "Let me feed you the soup," to which she replied "Because you're a grown up and grown-ups don't make messes." (I so wish that one were true!)

How cute!
Very cute! Love the one about the vowels...they are a bit confusing.
Too cute!
Totally agree with the U thing-we experienced that too!
Blessings,
Angela
Those vowels are very confusing! Funny.
Darn vowels.
Darn strangers.
Allison is a cutie pie. Poor mom gave her THREE different vowels in that name.
