Tiny Talk Tuesday

Here's what Allison had to say this past week:

I was trying to get Allison out the door and she was stalling as usual so I took the toys out of her hands. Here's the conversation that followed:
Allison: Can you give me back my bracelet and rocketship.
Mom: No Allison, it's time to go.
Allison: But you took it from me and I'm not happy about it.

We were at the bathroom in the library and Allison likes to use the big handicap stall.
Allison: Let's go in this one (pointing to the handicap stall)
Mom: Someone might be in there (the door was closed), let's use a different stall.
Allison proceeds to stick her head under the stay and then says "No, there's no one in there." (I'm sure most of you with kids have experienced that one before!)

Daniel was fussing so Allison went up to him and said "It's okay Daniel, Allison is here." (so cute!)

I took the kids to Costco yesterday because I needed a few things and since our A/C was out, it was nice to go to an air-conditioned store. So when we got there, I put Daniel in the papoose while sweating because I didn't have a chance to cool off at home and it was hot and humid outside. I then managed to get Allison out of the car and we all went into the store. Allison did not want to get in the cart, I was hot and cranky, and once we reach the back of the store, Allison says "I'm hungry". So I managed to scrape up $1.50 in change from the bottom of the diaper bag for a hot dog and lemonade - we finally sit down to eat and Allison looked at me and said "You're the best mommy ever." (she must have known exactly what I wanted to hear after a LONG day - it put a big smile on my face)

That's all for this week. Check out NotBefore7 for more Tiny Talk!

Oohhh! And I really hate it when they put their hands down on the bathroom floor when they look under the stall - YUCK!

These are too cute - thanks for sharing!

Funny! My favorite is "and I'm not happy about it." That's hilarious!
