Daniel - 5 months

Daniel turns 5 months old today. I feel like he has grown so much in the past month. He has started playing with toys - his favorite is the exersaucer. He's also a tough kid. Allison tends to be a bit rough with his sometimes and he usually just sits there and takes it, sometimes even cracking a smile. He loves to watch his big sister sing, dance and kiss his toes.

Daniel also started eating some solid foods this month. He eats rice cereal which he doesn't really care for but I feed it to him anyway. He's also tasted green beans and carrots which are a bit more appetizing for him. His sleeping patterns are here and there. He's been waking up a couple times a night still which makes me quite tired during the day, but who needs sleep anyway! I'm almost always up at the 3am hour so if anyone else is, feel free to give me a call! Hopefully he will start to sleep better next month but maybe I'm just dreaming.

Daniel is full of smiles and even giggles every now and then. Allison seems to make him laugh the most. I guess he thinks she's just silly. He's also very strong. I can stand him up at his play table and he can basically stand there on his own - with a little balance from the table. He also seems ready to crawl. He loves to be on his belly and he's starting to push off on his feet. This is kind of a surprise to me since Allison did not crawl until she was nine months old - but like they say, each child is different.

So happy five months Daniel, you brighten my days with your adorable smiles!
