On Saturday, Allison and I had the pleasure of attending The Nutcracker Ballet with my Aunt Ruth. Before the show, she treated us to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then it was off to the performance. Since Allison is taking ballet she enjoyed watching the dancers moves and truly enjoyed their costumes. Even with the patience of a four year old, she managed to make it through the 2-hour show. Of course we don't have any pictures of the actual show but we took a couple pictures before the performance in front of a beautiful tree in the theater:
Today I took the kids to Hanukkah party at our local JCC. The enjoyed the crafts, food, bounce house and puppet show.

So we've had a busy weekend. Aunt Bonnie arrives in town tomorrow and we can't wait to see her. She's staying at my moms to help her and my dad out during my mom's recovery. Wish I could say we had big New Year's plans, but once you have kids (at this age at least) it's just not feasible. Which is fine with me since I'm usually in bed by ten anyway. Hope everyone has a great New Years!
