Wintertime in Florida

While the rest of the country is freeing this time of year, we experience the best weather anyone could ask for. Sure, it's hot here in the summer but not much hotter than up north (just a bit more humid). So in the summer we tend to stay indoors and in the winter we practically live outdoors. Since my sister is in town and my mom's recovery is going well, we decided to take a trip to the beach. It is a very therapeutic place after all. My mom got some good news this past week. Her pathology report came back and she is clear of all cancer. She does not need radiation. Yes, that is a huge relief for all of us, especially her. Allison had fun wearing out Aunt Bonnie and Daniel tried to do as much as he could without stepping foot on the sand. Yes, he still gets freaked out by it.
