One Year and Counting

Well here we are. One year ago today I wrote this post to start my venture into the world of blogging. I can't believe it has been a whole year. I tried to start a blog a couple times in the past and never really got too far with it. For some reason, this time it actually stuck. I wish I had started when Allison was born so I could really have a good record of everything but I am thankful that I at least started while both kids are young. It has been such an enjoyable outlet for me to share thoughts, recipes, pictures, stuff about the kids (that is the bulk of it, isn't it?), and anything I feel like writing about. I have received so much positive feedback from my readers. I'd be happy to just write even if no one was listening but it's nice to know I have an audience - a few of you even leave comments every now and then. Don't hesitate to leave a comment, I'd love to hear what you have to say about a specific post or my blog in general. This blog has really been a great way to help my friends and family keep up with our daily lives. Especially now that we have moved away from Maryland and many of our friends and family. For those of you that also have a blog - I love to read them! And for those of you that don't - I challenge you to start your own. I know most of you don't think you have the time but it's really not that time consuming. I'm taking care of two kids and a husband, working part time and I still manage to find the time. Even if you can't post everyday, you will be thankful for what you are able to record about your life. So start one up and send me your link! I look forward to another year of blogging and one of these days I might actually get this thing published into a hard copy so I can relive the past year of my life - Allison first year of school, swim class fiascos, Daniel's developmental milestones, Jeff's crazy adventures, Riley's tolerant behavior, sibling love and so much more.
