Pretty in Pink

I was on my way out the door this morning to get a pedicure when I hear "I want to come with you mommy!" So I decided to take Allison with me. I figured she could sit on my lap and maybe even get her nails painted. She had her toes pained when we were in California and thought it was pretty cool. When we got to the nail place, Allison saw they had this really cool pink cat chair with a DVD player attached to it, which was next to all the other pedicure chairs. I wish I had brought my camera to take a picture. Of course she wanted to sit in it and before I knew it she was getting a mani/pedi! Not just the polish but her nails clipped, buffed and and her legs and hands massaged - the whole deal! Talk about being spoiled at a young age. She was a bit confused by the language that the pedicurists were speaking - she though t it was Spanish because she assumes if someone isn't speaking English, then they must be speaking Spanish, or possibly French. I explained that it was Vietnamese. So she had her cultural lesson for the day. It wasn't cheap but at least her mani/pedi cost less than my pedicure, so it didn't set me back too much. However, I don't think I'll be bringing her with me very often because I know she'll want her nails done every time she's there. We had a fun girls morning out.
