A Night at the Ballpark

We went to a minor league baseball game last night organized by Jeff's office. This was Allison and Daniel's first baseball game. Of course, they could have cared less that there was actually a game going on, but they had fun. I didn't pay much attention to it either because I was keeping an eye on the kids . In fact, i couldn't even tell you who the visiting team was but I do know the home team was the St. Louis Cardinals farm team. Allison enjoyed playing with her friend Alexis and Daniel was fascinated with climbing up and down the steps. It was a little nerveracking because we were sitting behind home plate and although there was a net, there were several pop flies that landed rather close to us. We actually made it through 7 innings which is pretty amazing since the game started at 7 so it was pretty late for the kids. It helped that Daniel had taken a 3 1/2 hr nap earlier in the day and Allison took a short nap in the car on the way to the game. Here are some pictures from the game:

Daddy's turn to watch the kids!

Hey, there really was a game going on

My favorite...this is quite possibly the funnies picture I have of Allison - the expression on her face and the way she ate her hotdog - looks like a banana huh?

Oh the ballgame memories that come flooding back... ;)

Love that shot of Allison and her hot dog.

Hey, at least her nails still looked fabulous! But that expression is priceless, as if to say, "fix it mommy."
