Welcome to Tiny Talk. Here's what Allison, age 4 3/4 and Daniel, age 2 had to say this past week:
While driving in the car, Allison is always asking lots and lots of questions, many of which I just don't know the answer to. Here's a conversation we had this past week while driving home from school:
Allison: How do we know where it ends?
Me: Where what ends?
Allison: Outer Space
Me: I don't know. No one really knows if it there is an end.
Allison: Maybe the space aliens know. (she's got a point there!)

I feel like dinner time is a struggle in our house. I think I've finally decided that the kids just aren't hungry by the time dinner comes around. But the always seem to have room for dessert.
Me (to Allison): Eat your chicken.
Allison: I'm tired
Me: Stop making an excuse and eat your chicken.
Allison: I'm not excusing, I'm really tired.
Me: Well then I guess you can't have any cake because you are too tired.
Allison: No, I won't be tired when it's time for cake. (Gotta love the logic of a 4 year old)

While putting Allison to bed, she was making a funny noise out of her nose, so I asked her what she was doing, to which she responded " Don't worry about me, worry about yourself." (Yes, she totally picked that phrase up from me.)

And finally, Daniel's favorite phrase of the month (which I taught him of course) "I...love...you!"
That's all for this week, for more TIny Talk, check out my friend Mary's blog, NotBefore7!
