Marco Island aka "Paradise"

This past Friday I celebrated my 33rd birthday and to keep the celebration going, we took a trip to Marco Island. Actually, some friends of ours from Maryland were vacationing there for the week so we decided to cash in some of our Marriott points so we could join them for a couple nights. It had been two years since we'd seen each other so the kids didn't really remember one another. They have a daughter who is almost 6 and a son who is 4. When we lived in Maryland, we spent a lot of time together but that was two years ago, and although Allison claims she remembers everything since the day she was born, her memory isn't what she claims it to be. It was wonderful to see them and we all had an awesome time laying at the beach, swimming in the hotel pool, eating out, and enjoying a drink here and there. Here are some pictures of the highlights of our quick but fun-fulled weekend:

Jeff and Allison getting ready to go down the waterslide. Allison could not get enough of this slide. She must have gone down at least 50 times. Sometimes with daddy and sometimes all by herself!
Here's a picture from the second day of our trip of Allison and Jeff actually going down the waterslide. As much as I would like to take credit for this awesome picture, I have to give credit to our friend Dax who has a waterproof camera and was standing in the pool taking this shot.

The amazing views and sunset
I just liked this shot
The gorgeous condo building next to our hotel that we wish we owned a unit in. Anyone got a few million we can borrow to buy one???

Haning out by the pool
Nice shot of our hotel

Madison and Logan's parents - Janet and Dax. If it wasn't for them, we probably wouldn't have planned a trip to Marco Island and my birthday weekend wouldn't have been as special. Thanks guys!
