Jumping and Crawling

Both Allison and Daniel had big weekends. Daniel started to crawl on Saturday night. It's funny because I was gone all day Saturday and Jeff said he didn't crawl during the day. Daniel knew he had to wait for me to get home before he could show off his new skills. Of course, I still haven't been able to get it on video but hopefully I will capture it soon. So instead of a video, I will just post a cute picture I took of him on Friday:

We went to my moms pool today. It had been a while since Jeff had been in the pool with Allison and we realized how far she has come. Those swim lessons really are making a huge difference. She did something I wouldn't do until I was 8 years old - she jumped in the pool all by herself !(with daddy there to catch her of course). She even goes under the water when she jumps in. My mom managed to get a video of it, so here it is:

She had so much fun and just kept wanting to jump in over and over again. We also worked on the floating a bit and she's starting to get a bit more comfortable being on her back in the water. We'll see how she does in swim class this week.
