Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Here's what Allison, (age 4.9999) and Daniel, age 2 had to say this past week:

Allison: Is this a nectarine or a peach?
Me: A nectarine, do you like it?
Allison: Yeah, Some days I like it and some days I don't. I like it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. What's today?
Me: Today is Tuesday.
Allison: Oh yeah, I mean I like it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

In this next conversation, Allison is referring to a pair of shoes I bought her about 3 months ago.

Allison: I got my new Nike's at the mall. We gave them the small shoe (referring to the sample shoe they have out) and they made it bigger. I think they have a special room with a special machine that they can make it bigger or smaller. ( where does she come up with this stuff??)

A couple months ago we went to a place called Wannado City where kids get to act out different occupations. One of these occupations was a surgeon, so Allison was able to preform a pretend surgery. Randomly the other day she said to me:

Mommy, when people have surgery, they open up their stomach and take the key stones out - there's five. (yes, she did really say key stones and the pretend surgery involved removing 5 kidney stones from the patient).

And finally, not sure if this one will come across to well on Tiny Talk but Jeff and I found it hilarious. Jeff was putting on Daniel pajamas and he asked if he wanted pants or shorts. Jeff thought he said pants so he put him in pants. After Jeff put his pants on, Daniel yelled "I said shorts!"
