Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday! Here's what Allison, age 4(almost 5!), and Daniel, age 2 had to say this past week:

Recently, Allison has been trying to figure out what is "alive" or not alive and what is "real" and not real. Here's one of our conversations related to this:

Allison: When we meet the characters at Disney, that's just people dressed in the costumes right? That's why they don't talk right?
Me: Like which ones?
Allison: Like the Little Einsteins. They're not really alive.

During a heavy rainstorm:
Allison: If it was raining cats, dog sand bugs that would be a bunch. Good thing it's not, especially not the bugs.

On 4th of July morning, Allison woke up nice an early - 6:30am. She came down to my room and the first thing she says to me is: "Mommy, the suns out, it's just that the windows aren't clean. They're a big mess!" (we later figured out that she was referring to the fact that they were covered in dew and you couldn't see through them.)

Daniel: Mommy's bike
Jeff: Why do you want mommy's bike? Why don't you want your bike?
Daniel: Car
Jeff: You want to drive a car?
Daniel: Yes
Jeff: What car?
Daniel: Daddy's car. Daddy's car.
