Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday! Here's what Allison, age 4 3/4 had to say this past week:

So you'd think an almost 5-year old wouldn't have tantrums but it seems Allison is making up for not having them at age two. But I can't help but laugh at what comes out of her mouth when she gets really angry. I forgot what she was so angry about - she wanted to do something and I said no. As she was yelling, I typed away and here's what she had to say...

Allison: But then I am Never ever never ever never ever going to draw pictures again.
Me: Okay
Allison: But then I am never ever never ever going to eat again.
Me: Okay
Allison: But then I'm never ever going to get dressed.
Me: Okay
Allison: But then I'm never ever ever going to come downstairs
Me: okay
Allison: All I am going to do is walk around the house, but not downstairs and all I am going to do is go to bed but I'm never ever never ever going to go to bed. (love how she contradicts herself!)

Apparently Allison really pays attention to commercials. For some reason on one of the kids cable channels (I think it was Sprout) they keep showing the Oxyclean and Kaboom ads. While sitting at the kitchen table, she randomly says to me:

Allison: Mommy, have you ever heard of Kaboom? Or is it Oxyclean? On color is goes really good like white black or pink or blue or brown or orange. It helps get off like mac and cheese or butter pasta, or apples or lettuce or ranch or blue cheese or Italian. That's everything it can get off.

Later that day I was watching tv with her and she says "See mommy, that's what I was talking about earlier."

While driving down the road (once again)...

Allison: What's that stinky smell? It smells like daddy after biking.
Me: Maybe you smell the grass outside because they are cutting the grass.
Allison: Maybe it's because they are working really hard and sweating like daddy does when he goes biking.
