Homemade Chicken Pot Pie


Yes, that's right - two recipes in one day - can you believe it? I gotta make up for lost time. This is another recipe that I have to thank my dad for. I think he got the original recipe from allrecipes.com but we have both made adaptations to it for our liking. It's easy to change based on what veggies your family may or may not like. You can use more/less milk depending on how loose you like the filling to be. You can also use frozen, canned or fresh vegetables. Just make sure that if you use fresh or frozen that you cook them a bit before you mix them with the rest of the ingredients. I personally prefer fresh vegetable but I've made it with canned and it still tastes yummy. Also, if you would like to use fresh potatoes, then substitute condensed cream of chicken soup instead of cream of potato. Just make sure you boil the potatoes a bit before mixing with the other ingredients. Here's the recipe!
