Visiting The Nature Center

Jeff was at school again this weekend so we had to find things to keep us busy. On Saturday we went to A Latte Fun (the indoor playground) with a friend and her kids. The kids had a blast and we were there for about 5 1/2 hours. Today I spent the morning cleaning and by 3pm I was ready to get out of the house. I decided to take the kids to a Nature Center at a local park that I had never been to but I have been wanting to go there. Allison and Daniel enjoyed looking at the turtles, fish and even the snakes. They also had a nature walk path. Daniel's stroller was in the car and I didn't feel like walking to get it (ironic since I was about to go on a nature walk) so I decided to just let him walk. He actually did pretty well - he loves to walk, that's for sure. He mainly stayed on the path but wanted to veer off a few times. Here are some pictures that Allison and I took:
Daniel checking out the fish

Daniel having a conversation with a plant

Allison trying to pose with Daniel but she seems to be choking him instead
Following the leader (the one with the map of course)
Admiring the nature along the way

Allison wanted a picture of just her and the flower

Say Cheese!

He's still going...

Time for a rest...and some water..and a cheesy smile...

And still going...can you tell he worked up a sweat - check out those rosy cheeks!

Here's the best picture of all because it actually has all three of us in it (can you spot the photographer?)
