Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday! Here's what Allison, age 4, had to say this past week:
Allison (trying to plan her future): I know how I can be an engineer, a teacher and a mommy when I grow up. I could go to work on the evenings. I could go to school on Wednesday and Thursday. I could stay home on Saturday and Sunday and do the dishes, or make dinner or play with little children when I grow up. (talk about a planner!)

Me: Look at the bird on top of Mr. Ron and Ms. Linda's house. Do you see it?
Allison: Yes, I see it. It looks like a chicken because it's red on top. Let me look at my book (holds both hands open for a pretend book). Yes, it is called a chicken red rainbow bird and those little birds are the babies. They are called 'ninos'. They can't fly but they can climb, just like Daniel climbs the stairs but he can't fly. It's called 'nearasking.'" (this, for those of you that don't know Allison, is a typical conversation in our house. She has quite the imagination and loves to make up names for things)
