What is Healthy Anyway?

One of these days all four of us (five if you count the dog) will be healthy and able to do things, like take a walk outside. I'm all better (thank goodness), but now Allison is quite sick. She's had a cold for about two weeks but it really got bad over the weekend. Coughing, fever, earache, sweats, green gunk coming out of her eye - she's just plain miserable. So we took her to the doctor this morning. Turns out she has a double ear infection, sinusitis and conjunctivitis. She threw up at 4am this morning and her fever is up to 102.5. My poor baby. There's nothing worse than having to see your child sick. But at least I am well enough to take care of her. Daniel had a fever last week but nothing else. Let's hope this doesn't pass on to him. Jeff has managed to remain healthy, he's just sore from training for an adventure race. Allison hardly ever gets sick. She gets a cold every now and then but I think I've only taken her to the doctor 2 or 3 times for illness. So I should be thankful that this doesn't come around often but now that she's in school, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of it. Definintly makes you appreciate the days when everyone is healthy!
