Tiny Talk Tuesday

Here's what Allison, age 3, had to say this past week:

The instructor at Allison's swim class has been trying to get her to float on her back on her own for weeks now and she just won't let go of his hands. So on the way to class last week, I said:
Me: Do you know how happy Mr. Corey will if you float on your back today?
Allison: One
Me: One what?
Allison: One happy.

Me: This traffic stinks.
Allison: (sniff, sniff) It sure does mommy! (that really made me laugh and forget about the fact that I was sitting in traffic!)

In honor of Christmas next week, here's a conversation Allison and I had while in the car:
Allison: Where is the real Santa?
Me: He's in the North Pole making his list and checking it twice
Allison: He's not in Florida?
Me: Not right now.
Allison: Where is his home in the North Pole? (sure, ask your Jewish mother these difficult questions!)
Me: I'm not sure.
Allison: I think it's far away. He has a long way to come to our house.
