The Joys of Parenting

So Allison finally learned how to use the mouse on the computer which means she can play her Dora computer game all by herself. At first I thought this was a good thing, then I realized what a very bad bad thing this was. She was on the computer two hours straight yesterday playing the game and when we tried to remove her from the computer she pitched a HUGE fit. I know, it's my fault for letting her play in the first place, but she was really enjoying it and I think she actually does learn something from these computer games. Plus, it keeps her occupied which means I can focus on the 8 month old(who loves having my attention) for a little bit. So I guess my job as a parent is to figure out a happy medium. Do I limit it to 1/2 hour or an hour or day? Do I only let her play it as a reward for good behavior? Guess Jeff and I will spend the weekend figuring that one out...
