Tiny Talk Tuesday

Here's what Allison, age 3, had to say this past week:

I ordered Chinese food for delivery. While I was emptying the bag of food, Allison said " That man sure brought us a lot of food mommy." (Ok, so I was quite hungry when I ordered). Later, as we were eating the food, Allison was loving the Chicken Chow Mein and she says" I can't believe it mommy, I can't believe I'm getting so much!"

Allison jumped into the water in swim class. Later that night she said to Jeff, "Did you hear me at work daddy? I made a BIG splash!" (the whole distance concept his quite hard to explain)

While preparing for my parents to babysit:
Me: Are you going to be a good girl for grandma and papa and listen to what they say?
Allison: Yes, and they will listen to what I say. (and you wonder who is in charge)

Allison: Mommy, look was happened to Dora
Me: Oh my, what happened to her pants?
Allison: I think they're in a cave or a monster ate them. (she's really into monsters these days)
