I feel like I have been neglecting my blog. In fact, I have been neglecting my blog. My dear sister arrived in town yesterday and she told me the first thing she does when she gets to work every morning is check my blog (and she is one incredibly busy chick at work). If that's not enough inspiration to write more, I don't know what is. So I'm going to try and become more inspired and write more often. Well see how that goes. We've had a very busy week so far - two birthday parties at the beginning of the week and a Halloween party this afternoon. Then tomorrow it's a parade and party at Daniel's school and the Halloween festivities will culminate on Sunday with trick-or-treating of course. I've enlisted Uncle Michael to help carve a pumpkin for us, since he is experienced after carving our pumpkin three years ago. Not sure what we're gonna do yet, he was a great sport about carving a princess and wouldn't want him to have to go through that again...
But let's back up a bit on our Halloween activities...Last weekend we went to a local farmer's market where they have a bunch of pumpkins to pick from - I just can't bring myself to call it a pumpkin patch, because it's just not, but it was cute nonetheless:
They also had a spooky forest that the kids enjoyed walking through. They protected each other from all the scariness:
Who knew Alice and Buzz were so tight? Maybe one of these years we'll actually be able to dress them up in complementing costumes. Guess I should just be happy Allison isn't trying to be a princess anymore. Happy Halloween everyone!
