Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk! Here's what Allison, age 4, had to say this past week:

Allison: Where are you going mommy?
Me: To the spa and lunch.
Allison: And then where?
Me: I don't know
Allison: Maybe you can go to the place where only grownups can buy drinks.
Me: What place is that?
Allison: The ABC Store (yes, she was referring to ABC Liquors and no we have never been there but it's on one of the main roads we are always on and she always asks what it is so I told her what it was an apparently she remembers it well!)

Jeff walked into the living room after getting ready for work and Allison said "Daddy, why are you dressed so handsomely today?" (Jeff had a meeting and was dressed up for the occasion)

I was dropping Allison off at school and it was her friend Ashley's moms birthday (who is also a good friend of mine). Allison told her teachers "Today is Ashley's mommy's birthday" and I think someone jokingly asked "How old is she?" to which Allison responded " She's older than my mommy!!!" (we all had a good laugh at that one)

Allison had "airplane day" at school and when she came home she wanted to play airplane. So Daniel was a passenger on the plane and after they sat down, Allison said "Come on Daniel, sit like a lady."

Daniel kept dumping out a basket full of toys and I was getting frustrated at him (Because I was silly enough to try and clean them up time after time). Allison said "You're 18 months Daniel, you should know better" at which point he actually started putting everything back in the basket. (maybe i should put her in charge).
