I had quite a relaxing day today. First I went to the spa and had a manicure/pedicure and then got my hair cut. It was nice and all but I realized it's not worth spending three times as much as I normally do to go to a fancier place. The service was a little bit better, but only because they offered me something to drink. So I'll be sticking with Hair Cuttery and my local nail salon for now. After the spa, I picked up my aunt and we had a delightful lunch in Palm Beach at this restaurant. The food was absolutely wonderful. I would have taken pictures (especially of the dessert) but figured it wouldn't have been too appropriate since we were at a shi-shi place. We ate outside in the courtyard and it felt like we were worlds away. After lunch we walked along the intercostal to the Flagler Museum. My aunt was nice enough to treat me to a tour of the mansion. I didn't take any pictures in there either since no flash photography was allowed but it was quite beautiful inside (you'll just have to take my word for it). I did manage to get a picture of my Aunt Ruth and I before our big day on the town (thanks Uncle Bob!).
So while I was away enjoying my day, Jeff was at home having fun with the kids. He even found time to bake cupcakes with Allison while Daniel was napping. And....he took pictures (well, a couple).
Watching her hard work in action
After I came home, they feasted on their hard work (but I was still too full from lunch to eat).
Even Daniel got in on the action
