A Day To Myself

I'm not very good at taking time to focus on myself. I have a hard time taking a break from it all Well, after Jeff being at school all last weekend and not home much at night due to studying and going out with friends (okay, only one night of that), I decided I needed some ME time. So I called up the spa and made an appointment to get my hair and nails done tomorrow. I would have loved a massage too but I held back from spending too much money. Every time I turn on the tv, it seems to be doom and gloom for the economy so I figure I better spend my money wisely (and save the rest) because you just never know. After my spa appt. I am going out to lunch with my aunt at a swanky restaurant in Palm Beach. It just so happens to be restaurant week in Palm Beach so we can enjoy a three-course meal for only $20.08. I really need to to this more often, especially now with Jeff at school every third weekend. I'm afraid I'll go a little nutty if I don't focus more on myself. I love my kids more than anything, but sometimes I forget I'm a person too. So off to the spa it is...
