I think Jeff has finally come to terms with the fact that red chair no longer works in our house. It has been the subject of many a blog post but I think he finally realizes we just don't have the space for it. It's been in our guest room/office for the past 4 1/2 years but it just seems to be in the way and takes up too much room. The problem is this: he is still sentimentally tied to it (this chair goes back to his childhood) and my idea of placing on the curb for the Thursday bulk trash pick-up isn't how he wants to part with it. We need suggestions on what to do with it - perhaps donate, perhaps an official good-bye ceremony (with slide show and all), or something else that would make Jeff feel it is properly laid to rest. We are accepting any and all ideas including anyone that may actually want it (wishful thinking). Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

Take a picture of it, put it in a nice frame and hang it on the wall. Mom
Perhaps you could do it in stages. Or even save the cushion from it, so it doesn't feel completely gone from his life. Like I'm one to talk about throwing ANYTHING out.
