California Dreamin' Part VI

The last two days of our trip were pretty relaxed. On Monday, Allison and I went to Bonnie's office with her and Samara. All of Bonnie's co-workers were so excited to meet Samara (Bonnie is on maternity leave until early September). Allison and I had the pleasure of babysitting Samara while Bonnie met with her boss for about an hour. She pretty much slept the whole time so we enjoyed lunch in the Ebay Cafeteria. Here's Allison posing outside Ebay's headquaters:

That afternoon Allison, Bonnie and I enjoyed some relaxation time by getting pedicures (and a manicure for Allison as well) while Jeff spent some quality time pushing his niece around trying to get her to take a nap (which wasn't very successful).. Here's Allison's finished product:

The next day we had lunch at the Yard House at Santana Row in San Jose. Allison and I had some fun with the pickles:
After lunch we had to visit the Tesla dealership. Jeff's been talking about this car for years. He actually wants the sedan (they're not making the Roadster anymore) but I think that's a few years down the road. The Roadster fit him well though:

After realizing he can't afford the car right now, we headed back to Bonnie's and spent the rest of the time enjoying this cutie pie:
It was very hard to say good-bye to her because I know next time we see her she will be so different. Luckily they are planning to come visit us this fall so we won't have to wait too long. Our trip home was pretty uneventful - our second flight was delayed about an hour and a half (on top of our 2-hour layover) but we finally walked into our house around 11:00PM after having left CA on a 7:30AM (PT) flight. Needless to say that makes for a long day. I love going to California I just hate the process of getting there and back. But I won't let that stop me from visiting them!
