When it comes to getting rid of toys, I always have a hard time trying to figure out what to get rid of. The reason being is that the kids play with almost ALL of the toys we own. They may not play with them in the traditional sense but with their creativity they put them to some sort of use. This especially applies to Allison, who is 6 1/2 now. I figured by this age she might not be as interested in some of the toys, especially all the little people, animals and figures we have, but this is not the case at all. You may remember this post from September of 2008 when she created quite the shoe parade or this one from July 2008 when she managed to find a blanket for all of the little figurines beacuse she wanted to put them all to sleep. Or perhaps this post from August 2007 when there was a "place for everything and everything in its place). Well, last week I went upstairs to find that her days of creative play with her toys are most definitely NOT over. She created quite the dinner table for all of her little friends, who were celebrating the wedding of Cinderella and Ken (who was to go by the name of Prince Charming after the wedding):FYI - The shoes and big pyramid were necessary to help hold up the people that can't stand on their own.
