A Matched Set

Allison received quite a special gift from Nana (Jeff's mom) this past weekend - her first American Girl doll! I explained to her that this is a very special doll and she needed to treat it with the utmost care. Today, we received another special gift from Nana - a dress for the doll. Not any dress though. It just so happened to match a dress that Nana had made for Allison last year. Here is Allison with her "twin":

Thanks for the doll Nana!

Ahh...it was an American Girl Christmas here too!

K got Molly and T got Emily. They both have a "just like me" doll from bdays. And that is IT. They aren't allowed anymore :) But they are such fun and the girls love them!

They both got an AG pet this year too and they are loving that. Keep an eye on Craigslist if you "get into it". WE got both pets, 2 carrying cases, snowboards, hats, accesories and such for $35. (one pet is $20). I also got the dolls in GREAT condition at half price...so there are great ways to find deals if she gets into it!

Allison loves the doll. She bought it to our house for a sleepover yesterday and took good care of the doll and kept telling us how thrilled she is with her.

I am so happy to hear that she is pleased with the doll. It gives me joy to be able to touch her life.
