Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Here's what Allison, age 4 3/4 and Daniel (who will be two in 6 days!) had to say this past week:

I took Daniel to get his 2-year portraits taken. Since there was a stranger making him do strange things, he wasn't too keen on the whole thing and hardly cracked a smile the whole session. After the photographer was finished (or gave up) and while she was processing the pictures in the back, Daniel let out a huge smile, so I said "Oh now you giggle and smile!" to which Allison responded " I guess his smile is back from vacation!"

As I mentioned in my previous post, we took Daniel to get his first haircut on Sunday. So now, anytime I mention the word"haircut" around him, he looks at me with most pitiful face and says "Hurt." And no, the haircut did not hurt, I think he's just convinced himself that anytime a stranger (like a doctor, photographer or hairdresser) gets near him it's going to hurt. He needs to get over it, and fast. Although I'm guessing his 2-year check-up this week won't help the matter.
