Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Here's what Allison, age 4 1/2 and Daniel (almost 2!) had to say this past week:
I finally bought a GPS system for my car (which I LOVE by the way) and so I set it up for the first time. I turned it on, plugged in the address I wanted to go to and the woman with the nice voice said "Please drive to the highlighted route". From the back seat of the car I hear Daniel say "Hi Ma! (his word for grandma) Hi Ma!". I turn around and he is waving at the GPS system because he thinks my mom is talking to him through the GPS. This made complete sense to me because we often have video calls with my mom on the computer. Daniel must have figured this was a video call in the car!

On the way home from my parents we passed a horrible accident in which a car was flipped over in the middle of the street. Unfortunately there was no way to shield the kids eyes (although it provided a good lesson on why the seat belt needs to be tight) so Allison caught a glimpse of the wreck. The next day she asked me "Mommy, when you get in an accident in your car, do you buy a new car or just flip it back over?" (oh the questions this child comes up with always amaze me!).
