Happy 2nd Birthday Daniel!

Boy do these kids grow up fast! I can't believe Daniel is turning two today. I really feel like we just celebrated his first birthday. He is really turning into quite the young man (as you can see from his 2-year portrait above). Oh the joys of having a 2-year old once again. Yes, the tantrums have already begun but I can't help but laugh when he gets angry because it's just so darn cute. When he gets mad, he runs around with his hands in the air until he finds something to bang them on and then he just ends up spinning in circles to get the anger out.

He's also starting to become a little more social with those outside of his inner circle but he is still very weary of most people. You really need to get to know him in order to receive feedback when trying to have a conversation. But Allison was very much the same way at this age, and we all know how social she is now so there is definitely a good chance he will change. If not, that's okay too. I don't need both kids rambling on to every stranger they meet.

We have much to look forward to during age 2: potty training, possibly moving to a big boy bed (although I'm holding off on that as long as possible), and having to now buy 4 airline tickets (ugh).

So on this special day, I would like to wish my little guy (and he is little - 5th percentile for weight and 25th for height) a very very happy 2nd birthday!
