Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Here's what Allison, age 3 3/4 had to say this past week:
Allison: Why does everyone have an American flag out?
Me: Because it was a special holiday called Memorial Day.
Allison: When else do we fly the American flag?
Me: On certain holidays like 4th of July and Labor Day.
Allison: Like July 17th holiday (yes, that is her birthday)
Me: Well, I guess you can call that a special holiday of sorts.

While driving down the road, Allison saw a convertible:
Allison: Look at that fancy car! It doesn't have a lid on it!

I had bought Allison a new pair of tennis shoes and she was wearing them to camp. On the car ride to camp, she says:
Allison: I want to wear these shoes to school one day.
Me: Okay, but you don't have school again until August.
Allison: You mean when I'll be in croquet? (yes she really did say that!)
Me: Croquet? You mean Pre-K.
Allison: Oh, yeah. Croquet is a game right? ( I was impressed she even knew that)

Allison: Soon, when Daniel gets bigger like Peyton (a friend from gymnastics), he's going to be my big brother right? (if only it really worked like that)

Of course her birthday is a holiday!! That's too funny. I love the convertible with no lid. What a cutie!
Hey, remind her that she does have a special flag to fly on July 17th holiday, courtesy of Uncle Brad!
Doesn't have a lid...that is so funny. Never would have thought of that one.
