Welcome to the Land of Dr. Seuss

We went to a birthday party about an hour south of us yesterday which just so happened to be near an Ikea which just so happens to be one of my favorite stores. So of course we HAD to stop and go shopping! One of the things I had been thinking about buying for awhile was a new table and chair set for the kids. The upstairs of our house is comprised of the kids' bedrooms and a loft area that we call the "arts and crafts room". In this room. we had a small blue table that we actually purchased from Ikea about ten years ago. They used this table to color and draw on, but it was square with pointy edges which always made me nervous. The only seats we had were an old wooden stool made by one of Jeff's great Uncle's (don't worry, we're not getting rid of it!) and a plastic Nemo chair that Daniel always managed to flip over and hurt himself on (go figure). So we found a new set that is quite cute. I can't figure out if it reminds me of a Dr. Seuss book or the Doodlebops. Either way, they love their new table and chairs:
