Tiny Talk Tuesday

Allison: Mommy, remember when I had to get shots 3 days in a row and every day I got a princess present? (here's the details of that awful episode.)
Me: I do.
Allison: Can I do that again?
Me: You want to get those awful shots again? You don't want to do that, they hurt.
Allison: What about the arm shots, they don't hurt as much. (this kid will do anything for a present!).

Jeff (after coming home from mountain biking) : See my knee Allison, I fell off my bike and skinned it.
Allison: It looks like the red sauce that goes over the spaghetti. Daddy, why do you always fall off your bike?
Jeff: Because I need to practice more.

Allison's friend Joey from school gave her a happy meal toy b/c it was pink and he didn't want it. It was a little plastic phone.
Allison: It is just like Uncle Brad's phone, it is soooo cool. (a few minutes later after playing with it). This is even cooler than Uncle Brad's phone!

Allison: Mommy, how do they build skyscrapers?
Me: They use something called scaffolding (I think?? Seems like a good question for dad the engineer).
Allison: Or they have a really tall person build it?
